Annual General Meeting of the Medical Corps & Women's day program

The Annual General Meeting of the Medical Corps SVB was held on March 22, 2025, from 0900 to 1300 hours, under the presence of Mrs. R.M. Kalyani Wijerathna, president of SVB of the Medical Corps, at the auditorium of the Army Hospital.

Simultaneously, a scholarship program was initiated for 08 children of Medical Corps members who are studying at universities, providing a stipend of Rs. 50,000.00 annually until the completion of their degree.

Furthermore, at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, to mark International Women's Day, Mr. Jayan Mendis delivered a very inspiring lecture for women.

Approximately 200 members, including the esteemed president of the Medical Corps SVB and senior members, attended the event. Additionally, the Medical Corps SVB made arrangements to provide members with a gift and lunch.
