THE OFFICERS TRAINING DAY OF FIRST QUARTER - 2025 SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED AT RHQ SLAMC

According to the directions given by the Directorate of Training to conduct an Officers' Training Day', Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps conducted its session for 1st Quarter on 20 March 2025 at Regimental Headquarters Werahera, under the supervision and guidance by the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant Maj Gen D K S K Dolage USP nps psc and Centre Commandant Brig A P A D D Dharmakeerthi RWP RSP USP psc ptsc with the participation of over 130 Officers.

The day’s proceeding commenced with morning Physical Training for all officers’ and followed by Drill Training at the Parade Ground. Thereafter the Maj(QM)Tech S A K Lokuhetti, So 11 (Medical) - Directorate of the Army Medical Services, conducted a presentation on" PULHEEMS Valuation" and Dr. Kumara Kaluarachchi, Head of the Department, Department of Pharmacology Faculty of Medicine and allied sciences University of Rajarata Conducted a presentation on “Methamphetamine” which was very informative for the all officers. The evening session commenced with the recreation participation of all officers playing various games.

The evening session was colourful with the “Diners Club” commence with the arrival of Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant. Dr. Priyanga Dunusinghe, Professor in Economics in the Department of Economics Head of Department of Information Technology University of Colombo, conducted a presentation on" How to Survive in Economic Downturn Way Forward” The day’s terminated with the dinner organized at officers mess RHQ - SLAMC.
