Major General K.M.P.S.B. Kulathunga RSP ndc psc, The Commander Security Forces Wanni and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, paid an official visit to the 4th Battalion, SLAMC on 04 November 2025. He was warmly received by the Commanding Officer, and a Guard Turnout was presented in his honour. To commemorate his visit, the Colonel Commandant planted a sapling within the unit premises.
The Commanding Officer briefed him on the unit’s administrative and operational functions, after which the Colonel Commandant inspected all areas of the camp, providing valuable guidance on maintaining standards and uplifting infrastructure conditions.
He officially addressed all ranks by giving a valuable speech and he engaged in a cordial interaction with soldiers and civilian staff during an All-Ranks Tea Party, marking a memorable and inspiring occasion for the unit.
