THE OFFICERS TRAINING DAY OF FOURTH QUARTER - 2025 SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED AT RHQ SLAMC

According to the directions given by the Directorate of Training to conduct an Officers' Training Day', Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps conducted its session for 4th Quarter on 26 November 2025 at Regimental Headquarters Werahera, under the supervision and guidance by the Centre Commandant with the participation of over 142 Officers.

The day’s proceeding commenced with morning Physical Training for all officers’ and followed by Drill Training at the Parade Ground. Thereafter the Maj NHU Perera, Chief Medical Officer, Ranaviru Sevana - Ragama conducted a presentation on" PULHEEMS" and Mr. Ajith Lashantha Kumara Wijemanna, Director (Observation Network and Instruments) Department of Meteorology Conducted a presentation on “responsibility of department of meteorology and disasters” which was very informative for the all officers. The evening session commenced with the recreation participation of all officers for various games.

The evening session was colourful with the “Diners Club” commenced with the arrival of Mr. GSK Samrathunga, Chief Accountant (Procurement) – Presidential Secretariat and he conducted a presentation on" Salient Provision of newly introduced public finance Act”. The day’s Programme terminated with the dinner organized at Officers mess RHQ – SLAMC for all participant.
