THE OFFICERS TRAINING DAY OF FOURTH QUARTER -2024 SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED AT RHQ SLAMC

According to the directions given by the Directorate of Training to conduct an Officers' Training Day', Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps conducted its session for 4th Quarter on 20 November 2024 at Regimental Headquarters Werahera, under the supervision and guidance of the Colonel Commandant and Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff Collage Maj Gen D K S K Dolage USP psc and Centre Commandant Brig WAUS Wanasekara RWP USP with the participation of over 130 Officers.

The day’s proceeding commenced with morning physical training for all officers’ and followed byDrill training at the Parade ground. Thereafter the Dr. Asantha Senevirathne, Senior lecturer-Department of Strategic Studies, Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies at KDU conducted a presentation on" Geo Politics and New Emerging Global Trend " which was very informative for the all officers. The evening session commenced with the recreation participation of all officers playing various games.

The evening session colourful with the “Diners Club” commence with the arrival of Colonel Commandant and Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff Collage. Brigadier RDO Pathiranage PC, Judge Advocate General of Sri Lanka Army conducted a presentation on" Legal Context on Medically Related Negligence” The day’s terminated with the dinner organized at officers mess RHQ - SLAMC.
