Brigadier A P A D D Darmakeerthi RWP RSP USP psc ptsc assumed duties as the 27th Center Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) at the Headquarters, SLAMC, Werahera on 13 February 2025.The newly appointed Center Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Center Commandant, SLAMC and honoured in a Guard Turnout.

The Senior Officer placed his signature in an official document to mark his assumption of duties at an auspicious time. Afterwards, the Senior Officer was invited to plant a sapling as a gesture of memory and he performed his maiden address for the troops of RHQ SLAMC.
