The 1st Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Commanding Officer Assumes Duties

Major VAMN de Silva USP, assumed duties as the 21st Commanding Officer of the 1st Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps on 23 July 2025.

At the beginning of the day's agenda, the newly appointed Commanding Officer was honoured with a guard turnout. Afterwards, the senior officer signed the official document in her office, following the religious blessings.

Following the next segment, the senior officer wastributed to the fallen War heroes’ monument and planted a sapling to mark the special occasion, followed by a group photograph. Afterwards, the newly appointed Commanding Officer shared her thoughts and views during the troop address. The event concluded with an all-ranks tea party.
