THE SLLI SEVA VANITHA BRANCH CONDUCTS A SPECIAL DISCUSSION REGARDING THE WELFARE OF SOLDIERS.
Under the guidance of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, and with the supervision of the Chairperson of the SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Darshanee Yahampath, the Seva Vanitha branch of the SLLI held its monthly committee meeting at the officers’ Mess, on 19th July 2025, which included a special discussion with the spouses of commanding officers of the battalions. During the meeting, the attendees deliberated on the branch's future plans and introduced new proposals aimed at providing support for the welfare of soldiers and civilian workers.
Following the discussion, a farewell party was held at the officers' mess for the outgoing vice president and other senior members of the SLLI Seva Vanitha branch, recognising their dedicated service and contributions.
