THIRD PHASE OF DONATION PROGRAMME FOR HOUSING PROJECT - SLLI WAR HEROES
. Under the guidance of the Commander of Security Forces (Central) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Major General G.M.N Perera RWP RSP USP ndc and under the supervision of the chairperson of the SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Vajira Perera a successfully conducted the third phase of the donation programme in support of the housing project on 3rd Octomber 2024 at the Regimental Center.
. During the event, the Seva Vanitha Branch generously contributed Rs. 400,000 with Rs. 200,000 allocated to each of the two houses designated for soldiers.
This initiative forms part of a larger project through which funds have been donated to complete 19 houses, selected from units across the SLLI.
. The President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, alongside members, staff officers and other ranks from the Regimental Center were present to support this impactful programme.
