CONDUCT OF A PROGRAMME FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF GIFTS IN APPRECIATION OF THE SERVICE OF WAR HEROES

In line with a concept of the President of the Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch, a programme was organized to appreciate the dedicated service of Other Ranks serving under various projects of the “Sinha Diriya Piyasa Project Centre”, as well as the staff of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch. In conjunction with the Sinhala and Hindu New Year, gifts were presented to each recipient as a token of appreciation. The programme was conducted on 10 April 2026 at the Regimental Centre of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under the patronage of Mrs. Yamuna Abeykoon, President of the Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch.

During the programme, gifts were presented to 30 War Heroes serving at the “Sinha Diriya Piyasa Project Centre” and the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch. Several members of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch were also present at the occasion.
