Ex-servicemen Association of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) celebrated their 44th Anniversary on 06 June 2025. Major General JKR Jayakody RWP USP, Deputy Commander of Security Forces (West), Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and Chief Adviser of Ex – servicemen Association graced as the Chief Guest of the occasion and Major General MKD Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu (Rtd), Chairman of Ex – servicemen’s Association welcomed the Chief Guest.
The day’s programme began with a floral tribute to the fallen war heroes. The rest of the event proceeded according to the General Function of the Association, which included an address by the Colonel of the Regiment to a distinguished gathering comprising a large number of retired senior officers, officers, and other rankers. The agenda also featured discussions on the future direction of the Association and the well-being of its members. The programme concluded with a formal gathering, fostering camaraderie and unity among the members.
