Sri Lanka Sinha Regimen Holds Inter Battalion Carrom Championship

Under the visionary concept of Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Inter Regiment Carrom Championship was held in Regimental Headquarters – Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Ambepussa on 18 and 19July 2024. The event was organized by 21st Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.

4th Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment secured the Championship from Double Matches, while the Runner- up position was claimed by 1st Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Regimental Headquarter Battalion was able to win both the Championship and the Runner- up positions from Single matches.

Brigadier C.S Thibbotuge, Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Senior Officers and Officers from Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment witnessed the Competition.

1st Place - Cpl Thushara KSASS/ Cpl Ilangarathne WWDPP – 4 SLSR

2nd Place - L/Cpl Rajarathne MPKK/ Rfm Nandasena DMGT – 1 SLSR

3rd Place - S/Sgt Kumarasinghe TM/ Cpl Aththaragama KGGSJ – 3 (V) SLSR
