Chief of Staff Conducts Admin Inspection at Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment

The routine administrative inspection of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) was conducted by Major General W.H.K.S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of Gajaba Regiment at the Regimental Centre – Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in Ambepussa on 28 May 2024.

On arrival, Brigadier C.S Thibbotuge, Centre Commandant of SLSR warmly received the Chief of Staff before he was greeted by a Guard Turnout at the entrance to the SLSR Regimental Centre. Before the start of formal proceedings, Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commander, Security Forces - Wanni and Colonel of the Regiment of SLSR welcomed Directors and Staff Officers of different Directorates and Branches of the Army Headquarters.

Subsequently, the Chief of Staff highlighted the importance of administrative inspections. Respective Directors and Staff Officers of different Directorates and Branches tabled their observations and laid down procedures, related for the resolution of such issues. All the Commanding Officers and all the Staff Officers of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment took part in the administrative inspection discussions.
