Major General Kithsiri Liyanage, Commander Security Force (West) and Colonel of the Regiment, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, in his busy schedule while serving in the Security Force (west) took time off to make a formal visit to the Regimental Centre at Ambepusssa on 08 February 2022.
The objectives of the visit were to review the progress of Regimental Centre administrative matters and construction projects. During his visits, he prioritized inspecting the constructions of Corporals’ Club which long felt a requirement of the regimental Centre, Cricket Turf, SLSR War Heroes monument and flag post that are underway in the Headquarters premises.
He also did not forget to speak to some of the Other Rankers on duty in different locations in the camp.
Brigadier Wiraj Wimalasena, Centre Commandant and several Staff Officers were accompanied during the visit.
