SLSR Troops Saluted a Retiring Senior Officer

The troops of SLSR bade farewell to Brigadier Dammika Dissanayake on the eve of his retirement after the completion of 34 years of illustrious military career in the Army on 05 October 2021 on his arrival to the invitation at the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment at Ambepussa.

The farewell ceremony included a formal Guard Turnout, offering floral tributes to the fallen War Heroes, refreshments at the Officers’ mess in accordance with military traditions.

Major General Hemantha Bandara, Colonel of the Regiment SLSR, Major General Priyantha Jayawardana, General Officer Commanding 57 Division, together with Senior Officers and Staff Officers graced the occasion and extended their best wishes to the outgoing Centre Commandant of Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
