Artificial Limbs Donation Organized by the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit

Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit lent a helping hand to war heroes by donating artificial limbs at Regimental Centre SLSR , Ambepussa on 08th August 2020. The occasion was graced by Mrs. Indu Seneviratne President, Sinha Seva Vanitha Unit. The artificial limbs were sponsored by Mr. Dimuth Karunarathne, the present Captain of the Sri Lankan Cricket Team and there were 05 soldiers who wounded in action during the battle reserved artificial Limbs.

Brigadier Dammika Dissanayake, Centre Commandant SLSR, Colonel Dulith Perera, Deputy Centre Commandant SLSR, Mrs Rohini Dissanayake, Secretary, Sinha SVU, family members of Mr. Dimuth Karunaratne and several Officers participated in the event. The donation was coordinated by Major Asitha Ranathilaka Commanding Officer 3(V) SLSR.

Maj Gen Jayantha Senevirathne, Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel of the Regiment SLSR also joined in the interactive Session.
