Under the guidance of Commander 571 Brigade and with the close supervision of the Commanding Officer 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organized a lecture on ‘Prevention of Dangerous Drugs’ delivered by Mr. A M T S B Aththanayake, an Investigation Officer of Excise Department-Trincomalee for the troops of 1 SLSR on 24th July 2020 at the Battalion Headquarters’ lecture hall.
During the lecture he explained the types of drugs and illegal drugs and educated the participants on adverse effects of using drugs, ways to identify a drug addicted person from others and preventive measures to avoid drug addiction.
