RETIRING MAJOR GENERAL MANOJ MUDANNAYAKE JOINS RC'S FAREWELL CEREMONY

Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops bid farewell to the outgoing Major General Manoj Mudannayake, Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and Director General Infantry of Sri Lanka Army during a charm farewell ceremony, held at the SLSR Regimental Centre in Ambepussa on Friday (15).

Brigadier Ajith Pallawela the Centre Commandant SLSR welcomed him. Later, the outgoing Major General Manoj Mudanayake joined a floral tribute ceremony too at the SLSR War Heroes' monument.

The day’s event also included an all rank tea arrangement at the Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess before the retiring SLSR veteran had chat with the troops and recalled his yesteryear memories.

The programme of events culminated with the ‘Lunch’ hosted for Major General Manoj Mudannayake & Mrs Priyamali Mudannayake by Senior Officers, Officers and their Spouses in the Regimental Officers’ Mess.
