THE BEST COMMANDING OFFICER AWARD OF INTER REGIMENT COMBAT FIRING MEET – 2019 GAINED BY SRI LANKA SINHA REGIMENT

Inter Regiment Combat Firing Meet – 2019 was held at Diyathalawa 1000 m firing range from 14 December to 22 December 2019. There were 31 combat teams from all the Regiments of SL Army. Each team was consisted with 05 Officers and 05 Other Ranks.

The best Commanding Officer out of all the teams was won by O/64871 Major DMSC Dasanayake who commanded the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment team. S/368494 Cpl Subasinghe SAN occupied the second place of best Corporal out of all the teams in novices meet.

06 members of the SLSR team became the marksman by earning more than 200 points out of 250 points and they were awarded with the marksman badge.
