12th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment celebrated its 12th Battalion Anniversary on 22nd October 2019 with a series of events at Battalion Headquarters – Yatiyana, Matara. At the outset a guard turnout and a ceremonial parade was accorded to Major HT De Silva RWP RSP USP psc the Commanding Officer of the Battalion.
Subsequent to that, celebration ceremony continued with a blood donation program, all rank lunch, games evening, religious events with a pirith chanting followed by an alms giving.
