RETIRING MAJOR GENERAL RWWADB RAJAGURU RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc ACCORDED MILITARY SALUTE

Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment bid farewell to its outgoing Major General RWWADB Rajaguru RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc on 22nd September 2019 who retired after serving more than 35 years in the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army.

Ceremony was held in its customary way at Regimental Centre, Ambepussa. The commencement of the ceremony marked by a Guard of Honor in honor of the outgoing Senior General of Sinha Regiment.

The event followed by paying obeisance to the fallen SLSR war heroes at the Regimental Monument, tea party at WOs’ and Sgts' Mess in customary manner. The evening session also textured with the “Guest Night” hosted in honor of the outgoing Major General by all Officers of the Regiment at the Officers' Mess. Major General RWWADB Rajaguru RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc commented in his speeches at the WOs' and Sgts' Mess tea party and at officers mess “Guest Night” that extending his heartfelt gratitude for the generous assistance offered many ways by all Officers and Other Ranks during his military career.
