Master S.M Imash Bandara son of war hero S/ 39142 Staff Sergeant Bandara who sacrificed his precious life to safeguard National sovereignty during Agni Keela Offensive was given donation of Rs 500,000.00 in order to do surgery to recover from medical ailment in his spinal cord.
Long standing need was identified by Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch and Feather, aid was generated from Sinha Mela Trade Educational and Musical Extravaganza which concluded recently.
The financial aid was handed over during a simple event held at Regimental Centre by Deputy Chief of Staff, Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment, along with President Sinha Seva Vanitha branch Mrs. Shiromi Masakorala. Regimental Center Commandant Brigadier Ajith Pallawela. The secretary Sinha Seva Vanitha branch Mrs. Padmini Pallawela also presented at the event.
