DISABLE WAR HERO WAS WARMLY GREETED BY LIONS AT REGIMENTAL HEADQUARTERS, AMBEPUSSA

Disabled war hero Corporal Karunarathne of Gajaba Regiment arrived at Regimental headquarters Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment as tour committee decided to lodge the war hero at Sinha Regiment, Ambepussa on the third day during his unwavering road journey which symbolizes World Disable Day and strengthening the communal harmony. Spirited war hero was warmly welcomed with the presence of regimental Centre Commandant Brigadier Ajith Pallawela RWP RSP along with Senior Officers, Officers, Regimental Sergeant Major and fellow soldiers.

Adding colour to his perseverance endeavor, the Centre Commandant had garland him at Regimental Headquarters entrance. War hero was escorted by two amputated war heroes to inside the Regimental Headquarters and he was showered with round of applause by fellow able and disabled soldiers all along the entrance road, cultural troops performed as to encourage and value his determined effort. At the end of all events all Officers fellow soldiers blessed the war hero to complete his much awaited expedition.
