A welcoming reception for 10 newlywed Sinha Officers and their spouses who got married in 2017 was held on 23 February 2018 at the Officers’ Mess, Regimental Centre Ambepussa, under the auspices of the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General A P de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc.
Newlywed couples were warmly welcomed at the Officers’ Mess by the Colonel of the Regiment, President Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne, Staff Officers and their wives of the Regimental Centre. They were accompanied in a gracious procession amidst led by the back pipers and couple photographs were taken with Colonel of the Regiment and President Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch.
A series of fun games had been arranged at the event for newlywed couples, meanwhile Army Western Dancing Team displayed amazing dancing items.
The event was graced by the Colonel of the Regiment, President of Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch, Senior Officers of the regiment, Members of Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch, Commanding Officers and Regimental Staff Officers.
