The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch successfully carried out a welfare programme on 17 December 2017 for inward patients of National Institute of Mental Health at Mulleriyawa.
The President of the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Chandrika Senanayake and the President of Sri Lanka Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne have graced this occasion along with Presidents of other Regiments’ Seva Vanitha Branches and large number of members of Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch too attended for the event.
The Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Commanding Officer of Headquarter Battalion and officers and other ranks of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment were also participate for the event.
During the programme lunch was given for inward patients and a musical show with some other entertainment items including presence of Santa Claus were also arranged to colourful the event. In addition an Iron Wardrobe worth of Rs: 15,000.00 and daily consuming items worth of Rs: 7,000.00 were donated to the ward number 6 of National Institute of Mental Health at Mulleriyawa.
