OFFICERS TRAINING DAY OF FIRST QUARTER 2018 WAS HELD SUCCESSFULLY

The Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted Officers' Training Day for the first quarter 2018 at the Regimental Centre on 23 January 2018. A total of two hundred and fifty officers attended for the programme under the supervision of the Colonel of the Regiment Major General A P de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc.

The day's programme commenced with Physical Training followed by Sword Drill in the morning session, as next item of the day, the Colonel of the Regiment delivered a comprehensive and informative lecture on "Organization, Role, Tasks and Deployment of the Sri Lanka Army” which immensely benefitted the audience to improve their knowledge on the functions of the Sri Lanka Army. In the afternoon 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted a presentation titled "United Nations Field Missions and their Effectiveness" which gave clear insight on the subject.

As the final event of the day "Dinners' Club" was held where Senior Lecturer Mr. Tharidu Dhananjaya Weerasinghe from University of Kelaniya delivered a timely important lecture titled "Empowering Subordinates" which too immensely benefitted the audience to practice their Command and Control over their subordinates.
