The Regimental Centre SLSR conducted an Officers' Training Day at the Regimental Centre Ambepussa on 02 November 2017 with the participation of Col of the Regt.
The programme included morning PT, Sword Drill, Public Speaking and under mentioned Lectures. To enhance and broaden the knowledge of Officers.
Lecture on "The Role of Technology in Military Operations of the Future" by Mr. Niruthan Nilanthan (Visiting Research fellow at the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies)
Lecture on "Strategies to promote creative thinking" by Professor Prasad Sethunga (University of Peredeniya)
Further, Officers' Training Day was terminated by a Dinners Club when Guest Lecture was conducted by Professor Shantha K Hennayake on "Rise of Nationalism around the world and its impact on Sri Lanka".
Many senior officers, officers of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment attended for this event.
