Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa PVSM AVSM YSM VM ADC presently in Sri Lanka on a long goodwill visit, calls on the Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters on Monday (11) December 2017.
A Guard Turnout followed by a Guard of Honour accorded to the Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force with the Regimental Truncheon by the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment at the Ministry of Defence ground.
Guard of Honour was consisted with three officers and fifty one other ranks which was commanded by Captain K T Wathudura. This is the first time where the Truncheon marched in a Guard of honour for a foreign military delegation after it was received by the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 30 January 2017 by His Excellency Maithripala Sirisena the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
