PROGRAM TO MARK THE WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY AT THE SRI LANKA SINHA REGIMENT AMBEPUSSA
Subsequent to the ‘World Environmental Day’, keeping with the directive issues by the Army Headquarters\', the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted a ‘programme’ at the Regimental Centre with the participation of all officers and rankers on 31 May 2016 to mark the event. \r\n The ‘programme’ was focused on the development of environment friendly attitudes among all personnel. As part of the programme, the Centre Commandant delivered a lecture highlighting issues relating to ‘human activities and its effects on the environment’ and was followed by a ‘tree planting’ programme. \r\n
