The ongoing ‘Sinha Dirimaga’ project of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit (SLSR-SVU) stage II was held on 15 February 2020 at the SLSR Regimental Centre Ambepussa under the patronage of Mrs Priyamali Mudannayake, the President Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit.
During the day, lecture assistance was given by Mr Damith Kurudu Hewa, Chief Executive Officer Strategic Risk Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and he was highlighted the importance of the financial management to potential retirees.
Similarly, they were enlightened on ‘Opportunity of the Foreign employment and how to apply’ by Mr. R. K. K. M. P. Randeniya, the Deputy General Manager (Training, Marketing & Recruitment) Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.
Further, instructions of the Directorate of Welfare and Directorate of Public Administration of the Sri Lanka Army also educated those soldiers on the welfare facilities that they get after the retirement.
Lieutenant Colonel Dulip Perera, Deputy Centre Commandant, SLSR and several Staff Officers were present during the closing ceremony.
