\"Young Cougars, Cricket Fiesta - 2012\" which was organized by the \"Young cougars Club\" of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment was held at Sinha Regiment play grounds on 09th June with the participation of a large number of players and distinguished guests. 17 teams from 15 regiments of the Army compete in this tournament. \"Steal Backs\" (Juniors Club of Mechanized Infantry Regiment) emerged as champs and \"Waggoner Juniors\" (Juniors Club of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps) became the runners up. Malindu Peiris of \"Steal backs\" became the best batsman while Sachin Chandrasekara of \"Steal Backs\" claimed both the tiles of best all rounder& best bowler. Mrs. Nelun Goonetileke graced the occasion as the chief guest and Romesh Kaluwitharana was the guest of honour.
