An empowering programme for the NOKs of deceased officers of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment was held at the Auditorium of the Regimental Centre on 03rd march 2012 to mark the World Women’s Day. Human Skills Development Advisor and counsellor Dr. Mohan Palliyaguru graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr. Palliyaguru delivered a lecture to the participants as a part of the empowering programme. A valuable present was given to each NOK of the deceased Sinha members.
In addition to this event 10 commode sets were donated to disabled war heroes of Sinha Regiment. President of Sinha Regiment SevaVanitha Brach Mrs. Rani Jayathilake and many active members of Sinha Regiment SevaVanitha Branch participated for this event.
