Two Felicitating Parades for Newly Promoted Major General in one day at Ambepussa

In view of the recent rank elevation of Major General Ajith Pallawela and Major General Kithsiri Liyanage of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), a felicitation ceremony was organized on 05 December 2020 at the Regimental Centre SLSR in Ambepussa

Both newly promoted senior officers were warmly welcomed by the Centre Commandant SLSR, Brigadier Dammika Dissanayake on arrival on behalf of the Colonel of the Regiment SLSR.

As the commencement of the ceremony, a Guard Turnout and two separate Guard of Honours at the Parade ground were presented by the SLSR troops, followed by a floral tribute to the fallen SLSR War Heroes at the Regimental Monument.

Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and General Officer Commanding -12 Division, Major General Hemantha Bandara together with officers and other ranks of SLSR joined the felicitation ceremony.
