Troops of 14th Battalion - SLSR Commemorate the World Children’s Day

In line with World Children’s Day Troops of 14th Bn Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under commanded to 641 Inf Bde, organized a Children’s Day Program with Distributing Packets of meals for Preschool Children living in Karuwalakandal – Oddusudan GS Div. The program was held at the Agastin Preschool on 06th October 2022.

In order to create harmony between the civilians and the army in this area and to show that the army always stands with the civilians under the full supervision of the commander of this unit, to the children and the teacher of the Augustian preschool located in the Karuvalakandal GS Div in Oddusudan, on the occasion of World Children’s Day with sponsorship of Prageeth Perera and Wasana Perera, a lunch was given. 641 Inf Bde Civil Affairs Officer, Commanding Officer of 14th Bn - SLSR, 2nd In Command of 14th Bn - SLSR , Brigade Major of 641 Inf Bde , Officer Commanding of B Coy 14th Bn – SLSR and 10 OR’s participated to this event.
