A Blood Donation Program was successfully held on 06 June 2025 at the Regimental Center, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Ambepussa, in conjunction with the Poson Full Moon Poya Day. This initiative was launched based on a concept by Mrs. Indunil Jayakody, Chairperson of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch. The event was further graced by the presence of the Deputy Commander of Security Forces Headquarters (West) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Siinha Regiment, Major General JKR Jayakody RWP USP.
The program was carried out under the supervision of the medical staff from the Regional Blood Center – Teaching Hospital, Ragama. Approximately 130 donors participated, including members of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and Civil Servants.
This initiative reflects the Sinha Regiment’s continued dedication to social responsibility and humanitarian service.
