SRI LANKA SINHA REGIMENT FELICITATED NEWLY APPOINTED DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF AT THE DEN OF LIONS, AMBEPUSSA

Major General M K D Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu who was newly appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army was felicitated by Sinha Members of his Regiment in a formal and Glamorous Ceremony held at the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment with the presence of senior officers, officers, spouses and other ranks of the Regiment.

Array of days events commenced by a guard turnout, Ceremonial parade which was pinnacle of all has comprised with officers and other ranks of twenty battalions including Regimental Truncheon. Further planting of sapling, floral tribute at war memorial, opening of newly constructed ‘D’ Guard Room, refreshment at Warrant Officers & Sergeants’ Mess followed by a lunch at Officers’ Mess were among the special parts of the ceremony.
