The finals in the Wrestling tournament and the prize awarding ceremony of the Army Inter Regiment Wrestling Championship - 2018 was held on Wednesday (28) at Panagoda Army Cantonment Gymnasium.
The Inter Regiment Wrestling Tournament was held under individual categories to suit weight categories.
More than 100 male and female competitors representing 09 Regiments of the Army competed in the Wrestling Competition during 26 - 28 February.
Major General GRH Dias USP ndc psc IG, Commander SFHQ (C) attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest at the invitation of Major General AMR Dharmasiri ndu psc, Chairman, Army Wrestling Committee.
