On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) conducted a program for 100 spouses of Army personnel at Okinreach Hall on 09 March 2024. The program was held under the guidance of Mrs. Neluka Nanayakkara, Chairperson of SLSR-SVB.
The program focused on empowering women through informative lectures. Mrs. Indu Senevirathna delivered a thought-provoking session on "Empowering Women," while Mrs. Chandani Bandara, founder of Forever Beauty products, shared her expertise on "Personal Beauty Care and Treatments." Additionally, Mrs. Pushpa Ramyani de Soyza offered valuable insights on "Personal Hygiene and Wellbeing of Women." All three speakers were presented with mementos in appreciation of their contributions.
To mark the occasion and celebrate the women themselves, each participant received a special gift pack.
