SLSR SPORTSMEN WON INTER REGIMENT KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP – 2018

The award ceremony of the finals of the inter Regiment Karate championship on Saturday (29) at Panagoda indoor stadium. The Commander of the Army Lt Gen Mahesh Senanayake graced as the Chief Guest for the Occasion.

Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment won the Army Inter Regiment Championship – 2018 with 11 gold, 12 silver, 20 browns, altogether 43 medals tally. 59 Sinha sportsmen tested their skills with the other Regiment for this Championship. As a result of their commitment SLSR won the Championship consecutive seventh year.

Maj Gen Duminda Keppetiwalana, the Center Commandant Brigadier Ajith Pallawela, Regimental Sport Officer Maj Chinthaka Hewawasam and number of SLSR Sportsmen attended the Occasion.
