SLSR Organized Series of Lecture to Enhance the Knowledge of its Officers

With the intension of widen the horizon of SLSR Officers Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (RC SLSR) organized a Diners Club at Officers’ Mess, Ambepussa in the evening on 06 March 2020 under the supervision of Major General Manoj Mudnnayake, Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and Director General Infantry of the Sri Lanka Army.

Colonel of the Regiment SLSR warmly welcomed the Guest Speaker Mr. Damith Kurunduhewa, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of “Strategic Risk Solutions”. He is a well-recognized management consultant / management trainer for many premier business organizations across the country. He is also known as an invited motivational speaker for many professional and social forums.

The lecture titled “Personality Development & Financial Management” attracted the audience. Following the lecture and the interactive Q & A session, all gathered at the Officers’ Mess for the entertainment session.

Mr. Damith Kurunduhewa was presented a memento as a token of appreciation by Major General Manoj Mudnnayake, Colonel of the Regiment SLSR.

Similarly, during the morning hours (6) Mr. Ajith Rohana, DIG Legal Affairs of Sri Lanka Police, enlightened the SLSR Officers who participate for the training day session on the subject of ‘National Security Concerns in the Aftermath of the Easter Sunday Carnage’.

Ms Thamara Kannangara, professional English language teacher and presently serving as the head of the Language training unit of a government organization conducted a lecture on ‘How to Convert Obstacles into Opportunities and How to Make a Healthy Family Life’.

Brigadier Ajith Pallawela, Centre Commandant SLSR, Senior Officers, Staff Officer, and Officers of SLSR also participated in the occasion.
