SLSR Colonel of the Regiment Addressed refreshed SNCOs after Training

Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Quarter Master General and Colonel of the Regiment graced as the Chief Guest of the Closing ceremony of the Senior Non -Commissioned Officers refresher course conducted in Regiment Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (RHQ SLSR) in Ambepussa on Friday (11).

Colonel Vajira Amarasiri, deputy Centre commandant welcomed the Colonel of the Regiment to the venue and General Staff Officer 1 RHQ SLSR invited him to address the participants.

This refresher course was conducted under the guidance of Major General Priyantha Jayawardea for the 195 Senior Non-Commissioned officers promoted to coincide with the 75th Independent day of Sri Lanka. The course was held for seven days sessions including Drill, Leadership, Etiquette, Media, Military Law, Organization and several fields.

During the address, he highlighted the value of knowledge, experience, discipline, motivation and commitment to the individuals for the betterment of them and the Army.
