A ceremony organized by the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch to mark international women’s day was held at Regimental Centre Ambapussa under the auspices of Mrs. Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne the President Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch on March 10.
The workshop which was held at the Sinha Auditorium, saw the participation of former Sinha Seva Vanitha Vice President Roma Rajaguru as the Chief Guest, Mrs. Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne the President Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch, the Centre Commandant, a large no of Sinha Seva Vanitha members and Officers attended the event.
Speaking at the event expert speaker Mrs. Ama Dissanayake educated the participant “The Role of Wife for Good Marriage Life”
A donation including five Juki machine worth of Rs. 215000.00, and five cosmetic set and beauty accessories worth of Rs. 150000.00, donated for war heroes wives to start self employment on same event.
Soon after conclude the workshop there was a get together at cabana area with the participation of Colonel of the Regiment, President Sinha Seva Vanitha and members of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch, Centre Commandant and Staff Officers.
