At the invitation of Mrs , Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne , president Sinha Sewa Vanitha Unit, Mrs Rani Jayathilaka ex president of Sinha Sewa Vanitha Unit as the Chief Guest, graced the occasion for distribution of those appreciative gifts to a representative group of war heroes and Rranaviru family members. During the event Mrs Rani Jayathilaka addressed the gathering and remind what she did as a president of SSVB
A wide assortment of gifts, including 10 water purifiers to Ranaviru Seva authority, 24 water purifiers for solders who are suffering from kidney failures, scholarships worth of Rs 12000.00 for 50 students who passed the grade 5, GCE (O/L) examinations and several other students. Donation of Juki machines worth of Rs 43000.00 for the wife of Sergeant Karunarathne RA to start self employment and donation of cosmetics set and beauty ssaries worth of Rs 29000.00 for the wife of late Lance Corporal Atthanayake AMH, donated by Sinha Seva Vanith Unit (SSVU) at the Regimental Center , Srilanka Sinha Regiment , Abepusa, on Sunday (25) February 2018.
The Presedent of Sinha Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs Ruwini Sujeewa Wickramaratne, Center Commandant, Staff Officers of the Regimental Center and Ranaviru family members attended for the event. The event was colored by several dancing events presented by Army dancing troupes.
