Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organized “Sinha Mela” Educational, Trade and Musical Extravaganza for consecutive second time at Warakapola, Public Ground on 28 to 29 June 2019, with the participation of mammoth crowd.
Sinha Mela is a mega carnival, meant to raise funds for welfare of all serving officers and men, disabled war heroes and their families of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. Under the guidance of the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General MKD Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu.
Major General Kumudu Perera graced the occasion as chief guest for the event on 28 June 2019 along with participation of serving senior officers man and family’s.
Two day mega carnival included the renowned Army tattoo and musical extravaganza with the participation of two famous music bands, “Serious” and “Seeduwa Barvo”, and an array of famous singers. Arrange the Second day was allocated for lottery draw at the Commandant Forward Maintenance Area (East) and Colonel Commandant Major General Manoj Mudannayake of Sri Lanka Army woman Corps graced the occasion as chief guest.
