Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organized “Sinha Mela” for consecutive second time at Warakapola, from 6 to 7 April 2018, under the guidance of the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General A P De Z Wickramarathne RWP ndu psc.
Sinha Mela is a mega carnival, meant to raise funds for welfare of all serving officers and men, disabled war heroes and their families of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
Major General Piyal WIckramarathne was the chief guest for the event and serving and retired senior officers too were present to grace the occasion.
Two day mega spectacle pulled a huge crowed. It included the renowned Army tattoo and musical extravaganza with the participation of two famous music bands, “Feed Back” and “Sanidapa”, and an array of famous singers.
