Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch was held on Saturday (23) at the Regimental Centre, Ambepussa with the participation of more than 150 members.
Mrs Ruvini Sujeewa Wcikramarathna, the president of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while the Colonel of the Regiment attended as the Guest of honour.
The president of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch addressed the gathering and highlighted that the importance of uplifting welfare for war heroes and their families and she further requested the members to be dedicated to achieve success in forthcoming events.
During the session Ms Isarma Kariyakarawana, Senior Counselor delivered a lecture on “The Social and Family Responsibility related to the role of women” to the ladies attended for the event. The formal meeting of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Unit was coloured by a cultural feat and musical entertainments.
