Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment bid farewell to its outgoing Major General DC Keppetiwalana RSP ndu psc on 13th August 2019 who retired after serving more than 35 years in the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army.
Ceremony was held in its customary way at Regimental Centre, Ambepussa. The commencement of the ceremony marked by Guard Turnout and Guard of Honor in honor of the outgoing Senior General of Sinha Regiment.
The event followed by paying obeisance to the fallen SLSR war heroes at the Regimental Monument, tea party at WOs’ and Sgts' Mess in customary manner. The day event also textured with the Farewell Lunch hosted in honor of the outgoing Major General by all Officers of the Regiment at the Officers' Mess. Major General DC Keppetiwalana RSP ndu psc commented in his speeches at the WOs' and Sgts' Mess tea party and at officers mess that extending his heartfelt gratitude for the generous assistance offered many ways by all Officers and Other Ranks during his military career.
