On 6th June 2025, Mrs. Indunil Jayakody, President of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SVB - SLSR), undertook an official visit to Sinha Diriya Piyasa, a facility dedicated to showcasing products crafted by disabled soldiers.
During the visit, Mrs. Indunil Jayakody inspected various production units and provided insightful guidance for the further enhancement of multiple areas, including cinnamon product development, shoe manufacturing, book production, woodcraft, tailoring, cement-based items, cafeteria operations, and mural artwork. Her engagement emphasized the Seva Vanitha Branch’s commitment to promoting the welfare and economic empowerment of differently-abled war heroes.
Mrs. Dilrukshi Perera, Secretary of the SVB - SLSR, also accompanied the visit and expressed her continued support for these initiatives.
