In the Concept of Mrs. Priyamali Mudannayake, President Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit (SLSR-SVU) newly started a programme ‘Sinha Dirimaga’ initiated an 3 - day awareness workshop for 140 SLSR Non Commission Officers (NCO) who will retire from service in the years of 2020 and 2021, at Regimental Centre on Saturday (8) February.
The workshop was graced by Major General Manoj Mudannayake, Director General Infantry and Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and Mrs Priyamali Mudannayake, President SLSR-SVU.
During the workshop lecture assistance were given by Mr A. M. T. S Atigala, Deputy Director, Vocational Training Authority, Ballapana, Galigamuwa and his staff members. The Directorate of Pay and Record and Directorate of Benevolent Fund of the Sri Lanka Army educated the soldiers on the importance of the pre retirement course to enhance their personnel life.
To give a variety to the workshop an Entertainment programme had been organized and was conducted by well-known actors of “Janai Priyayi” and trill the audience.
Brigadier Ajith Pallawela, Centre Commandant SLSR, Mrs Pallawela, Secretary SLSR-SVU and several Staff Officers were participated in the event.
