OFFICERS TRAINING DAY OF THIRD QUARTER 2018 WAS HELD SUCCESSFULLY

The Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted Officers’ Training Day for the Third quarter 2018 at the Regimental Centre on 28 September 2018. A total of hundred fifty officers attended for the programme under the supervision of the Colonel of the Regiment Major General MKD Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu.

The day’s programme commenced with Physical Training followed by Sword Drill in the morning session, as next item of the day, Maj MLSB Wijerathne psc - SLA delivered a comprehensive and informative lecture on “Writing ACR’s” which immensely benefitted the audience to improve their knowledge on Writing ACR’s of the Sri Lanka Army. In the afternoon 6th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted a presentation titled “Humanitarian Operation of North & East” which gave clear insight on the subject.

As the final event of the day “Dinners’ Club” was held where Maj Gen SG Karunaratne (Retd) RWP RSP VSV USP psc delivered a timely important lecture titled “Regimental History” which too immensely benefitted the audience.
